Stability of the solutions of the simplest space-distributed discrete equations

Abstract: The stability of the solutions of the linear equations arising in the theory of two-dimensional digital filtration is studied. The different statements of the initial value problem are analysed. As the basic results, the corresponding stability criterion is obtained for each of them.
