Abstract: Electron beam treatment would cause conversion of trinitrotoluene and 1,3,5-trinitrohexahydro-1,3,5-triazine into biodegradable products and thus can be employed for the practical decontamination of ‘red’ wastewater in combination with bio-treatment.
