Abstract: The conversion of rapeseed oil using a catalytic material containing HMFI zeolite and silicon carbide was studied for the first time. The synthesized material effectively catalyzes the conversion of rapeseed oil into liquid hydrocarbons that mostly contain aromatic hydrocarbons, including a mixture of isomeric xylenes, in which the p-xylene content reaches 75%.

Keywords: rapeseed oil, zeolite HMFI (ZSM-5), silicon carbide, hydrothermal microwave synthesis, green p-xylene, green hydrocarbons.
