Abstract:
Using glaucine as an example, a convenient access to naphtho[2,1-
f ]isoquinoline (litebamine) derivatives is proposed. The synthetic scheme involves a stepwise pyridine–pyridine recyclization of the intermediate
N -acylsecoaporphine analogues.
