Abstract: Newly obtained cyclic monomer, glycidyl ethylene phosphate, readily forms branched or linear polymers via ring-opening polymerization catalyzed by 1,5,7-triazabicyclo[4.4.0]dec-5-ene or by [(BHT)Mg(OBn)(THF)]2, respectively. The polymers obtained are promising for biomedical applications.
