Synthesis and crystal structure of a new hybrid methylammonium iodocuprate

Abstract: The new hybrid organic-inorganic compound (MeNH3)Cu2I3 was synthesized using two independent techniques: mechanosynthesis and crystallization from acetonitrile. Its crystal structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
