Half-sandwich carbonyl molybdenum complexes with bulky triphenylcyclopentadienyl and cyclopenta[
b ]thienyl ligands have been synthesized, analyzed by X-ray diffraction method and tested as precatalysts in α-olefin epoxidation with
tert -butyl hydroperoxide.
