Microwave-assisted synthesis of magnetite nanoparticles possessing superior magnetic properties

Abstract: The improved one-step microwave-assisted preparation method for small (5–7nm) magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles possessing saturation magnetization values (97–98emug) close to that of bulk magnetite using oleic acid as the coating agent has been developed.
