Abstract: In the course of isolation of fungal luciferin from bioluminescent fungus Neonothopanus nambi, structures of novel nambiscalarane, Aurisin Z, trans-α-hydroxy-γ-phenylbutyrolactone, methyl 4-butyramidobenzoate as well as known nambinones A and C and polyhydroxylated sterol were identified.
