Abstract: The new complexes {[Co₂(BPPA)(hfipbb)₂(H₂O)(DMF)₂](H₂O)₄}_n and {[Ni₂(BPPA)(hfipbb)₂(H₂O)(DMF)₂](H₂O)₄}_n have been synthesized under solvothermal conditions. These isostructural complexes exhibit 2D bilayer networks with unprecedented {4¹¹.6⁴} topology.
