Abstract: Two methods for the preparation of microporous phenylenecarboxylate framework MIL-53(Al), solvothermal high-pressure procedure and synthesis at atmospheric pressure, were compared in respect of crystal morphology and size. Lower reaction time and temperature featured microwave method providing nanocrystallites of homogeneous distribution in shape and size.
