Non-steady Propagation of single and Counter Hydrogen and Methane Flames in Initially Motionless Gas

Abstract: An increase in warming up in the combustion of hydrocabons with simultaneous initiation at opposite butt-ends of a cylindrical reactor by a factor of ∼2, as compared to flame propagation from a single initiation source, is due to the two-stage combustion process.
