Abstract: New unsymmetrical 4,4’,5-tris(methylthio)-5’-{2-[4,6-di(thiophen-2-yl)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yloxy]ethylthio}tetrathiafulvalene bearing a polymerizable moiety has been designed and successfully synthesized; its electrochemical properties, susceptibility towards polymerization and crystal structure have been determined.
