Abstract: The new polymer [Cu(BIDPE)₂Cl₂][Cu(BIDPE)Cl₂]⋅nH₂O has been prepared, and an X-ray diffraction study has revealed a 1Dchain + 2Dsheet→3Dpolycatenation framework for this complex.
