Abstract: To enhance the lipophilicity of the NO-synthase inhibitor 2-amino-5,6-dihydro-4H-1,3-thiazine, its bridgehead analogue was suggested on the basis of molecular modeling; the synthetic routes to new 3-thia-1-azabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane derivatives and the results of their biological testing are presented.
