Growth of near-IR luminescent colloidal CdTe/CdS nanoheterostructures based on CdTe tetrapods

Abstract: Colloidal tetrapod-shaped CdTe/CdS nanoheterostructures with near-IR photoluminescence (PL) up to 830nm were synthesized and evolution of absorption and PL spectra during shell growth was studied.
