Abstract: The effect of camphor, cryptand [2.2.2] and sodium cryptate adsorption on the differential capacitance of carbon nanostructures has been studied. A 2–4-fold increase in the differential capacitance of these materials in the potential range from –1.0 to 0V has been discovered and explained by the Rehbinder effect.
