Synthesis of 2-arylmaleimides via the Heck reaction

Abstract: The Heck reaction of maleimides with aryl iodides in the presence of PdCl2(MeCN)2, Bu4NCl and HCOOK affords the corresponding 2-arylmaleimides in moderate yields.
