Abstract: Bis(18-crown-6)stilbene and N,N'-di(ammoniopropyl)di(4-quinoliniumyl)ethylene form bimolecular (D–A) and sandwich-like termolecular (D–A–D) complexes; the complex stabilities and crystal structure of the termolecular complex were studied.
