Abstract: 4-R-1,2,3,5-dithiadiazolyl radicals are identified by EPR spectroscopy upon thermal and photochemical decomposition of 7-R-1,3,5-trithia-2,4,6,8,9-pentaazabicyclo[3.3.1]nona-1(9),2,3,5,7-pentaenes in hydrocarbon solutions.
