Abstract: A difference between stationary open-circuit potentials and mixed potentials corresponding to the additivity of currents in the individual solutions of MeOH and O2 was found; the open-circuit potentials are shown to dramatically decrease with methanol concentration increasing in a narrow concentration range.

Keywords: Open-circuit potential, methanol, oxygen, platinized platinum.
