Abstract: 6-Hydroxyimino-6,7-dihydro-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines are converted into isomeric 1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimido[5,4-b]- and -[5,6-b]indoles in polyphosphoric acid or under exposure to para-nitrobenzoyl chloride in pyridine.
