Abstract: Hydroperoxo intermediates formed by the interaction of [Fe^II(BPMEN)(MeCN)₂](ClO₄)₂ [BPMEN = N,N’-dimethyl-N,N’-bis-(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,2-diaminoethane] with H₂O₂ in a CH₂Cl₂–MeCN mixture were characterised using EPR spectroscopy.
