Synthesis of highly functionalised 1H-furo[3,4-b]chromenes

Abstract: An effective route to 1H-furo[3,4-b]chromene-1,6-diols involves the reaction of alkyl isocyanides and dibenzoylacetylene in the presence of resorcinol derivatives.
