Abstract: The enthalpies of oxidation of mononuclear [Mo(H₂O)₆]³⁺ and binuclear [Mo₂(μ-OH)₂(H₂O)₈]⁴⁺ complexes in aqueous solutions were determined by calorimetric titration, and the metal–metal bond energy was estimated.
