Abstract: The first crystalline platinum(II) complexes with trimethylacetato ligands, K₂[Pt(OOCBu^t)₄]·3THF and Pt₄(OOCBu^t)₄(OOCMe)₄·2C₆H₆, were synthesised and structurally characterised by X-ray diffraction analysis.
