Abstract: The isostructural potassium ethyl viologen hexacyanometallates EV_1.5K[M(CN)₆]·12.5H₂O (EV²⁺ is N,N’-diethyl-4,4’-bipyridinium, M = Fe or Ru) were prepared and characterised.
