Abstract: The rates of ion exchange in an acid zirconium phosphate in the presence of different sodium salts solutions and the diffusion coefficients were found to increase in the sequences I<Br<Cl and ClO4<NO3<SO42 ClO4 < NO3 < SO42− ; this phenomenon was explained by different mechanisms of defect formation.
