Abstract: Chemiluminescence arising upon decomposition of dimethyldioxirane adsorbed from the gas phase onto a silipor surface containing tris(bipyridine)ruthenium(II) and 9,10-diphenylanthracene has been found and some mechanisms of activation have been suggested.
