Selective synthesis of 2-(1-methylvinyl)tetrazoles

Abstract: Hitherto unknown 2-(1-methylvinyl)tetrazoles have been obtained by regioselective alkylation of tetrazole and 5R-tetrazoles with 1-halogenopropan-2-ols and 3-bromopropene followed by dehydrohalogenation of the intermediate products.
