Abstract: Electron excitations in Ag(Br,I) nanocrystals (attributed to excitons and plasmons possibly superimposed on interband transitions) and many-electron effects have been observed for the first time by cryo-electron spectroscopic imaging and electron energy-loss spectroscopy.
