Abstract: Allylic boranes and diboranes add to ethoxy(trimethylsilyl)acetylene with full rearrangement of the allylic moiety to give a series of new trimethylsilyl-substituted cyclic and acyclic 1,4-enynes and polyenynes with a terminal double bond.
