Circumambulatory Rearrangements of Dithioacyloxy Groups around the Cyclopentadiene Ring

Abstract: Circumambulatory rearrangements of dithioacyloxy groups around the cyclopentadiene ring have been found to occur by a 3,3-sigmatropic shift (hetero-Cope) mechanism with energy barriers in the range of 24–30 kcal mol–1.
