Cyclic Oligophosphonic Anhydrides

Abstract: The previously unkown, water-stable, mono- and bi-cyclic anhydrides of oligophosphonic acids containing an amino group have been obtained by phosphonylation of amides using H3PO3–PX3 systems in the presence of amine hydrohalides.
