Abstract: 195Pt and 15N NMR chemical shifts and constants of scalar spin–spin coupling, 195Pt–15N and 195PtII195PtIV, for the heterovalent platinum tetra- and hepta-meric oxonitrocomplexes [(NO2)6PtIV(μ-O)3PtII3(NO2)6]5− and [(NO2)6PtII3(μ-O)3PtIV(μ-O)3PtII3(NO2)6]8−, and for products of hydrolysis of these complexes have been obtained by 195Pt and 15N NMR spectroscopic studies on freshly prepared aqueous solutions and also on two month old solutions.
