Abstract:
Ultrasonic treatment improved sorption properties of Mg
2+ /Fe
3+ (3 : 1) layered double hydroxides towards the chromate ion. The layered double hydroxides demonstrated unusual sorption patterns: fast sorption of up to 100% CrO
4 2– ions followed by their gradual complete desorption.
