Comparative analysis of functional properties of the bimodal fluoride nanophosphors MGd0.7Eu0.3F4 (M = Na, K) and RbGd2.1Eu0.9F10

Abstract: The morphological, structural, and luminescent properties of MGd0.7Eu0.3F4 (M = Na, K) and RbGd2.1Eu0.9F10 nanoparticles were systematically compared to elucidate the influence of alkali metal substitution on their behaviors. Additionally, the cytotoxicity of the potassium and rubidium compounds was evaluated for HEK-293 and HeLa cell lines.
