Abstract:
New 8-arylidene-4-cyanotetrahydroquinazoline
N -oxides were obtained
via the condensation of readily available 4-cyanotetrahydroquinazoline
N -oxides with aromatic aldehydes. Some of the synthesized compounds revealed fluorescent properties and moderate cytotoxic activity.
