Abstract: Spherical nanoparticles based on the biocompatible and biodegradable poly(d,l-lactide-co-glycolide) copolymer (90 : 10) loaded with oxaliplatin were produced by nanoprecipitation. Effect of the oxaliplatin loading on structure, size and morphology of the copolymer particles is considered. The nanoformulation of oxaliplatin demonstrates enhanced cytotoxicity and selectivity in vitro against several cancer cells compared with the free drug.
