A model of economic growth and related environmental quality

Abstract: In this paper we suggest a stylized optimization model of national economic growth and environmental quality control. A problem of finding an optimal development strategy is solved analytically. We reveal qualitatively different development trajectories, suggest a concept of sustainable development in the framework of the considered model. The model is calibrated for Russia.
