Parallel generation of plane finite-element meshes

A parallel algorithm for the generation of a finite-element grid using a parallel computer is presented. An algorithm for creating a Delaunay triangulation connected to a given set of nodes is considered. Some examples are discussed to illustrate the behavior of the algorithm.
