Abstract:
The results of computer simulation of RNA secondary structure formation during transcription are described. Both cases have been investigated: when any structure reorganization decreasing RNA free energy is permitted, and when any structure reorganization is forbidden. It's proved that structure reorganization prohibition noticeably decreases the amount of correct secondary joints in RNA structure. The investigation of simulated process dependence on structurisation parameters makes possible to assume that transcription process has intermittent nature. Transcription natural direction (from 3'-end to 5'-end) preference was established.
