The motion of water in the open rivers (the equations of Sent-Venan)

The mathematical proof is given of hypothesesis of Sent-Venan from the Navier–Stockes equations, based on the laws of conservation of impulse and mass of liquids. The Sent-Venan equations are often used for the solution of applied problem of non-stationary liquids flow in the open rivers.
