Abstract: The kinetics and statistical thermodynamics of monolayer adsorption are studied in this paper in the lattice gas approximation. The description of lattice gas approximation and general relations of statistical thermodynamics are given. A sequence of equations for maniparticle distribution functions and a close equation of the GKBET-model are derived. The latter is solved in the case of fast diffusion. The connection of the model with the known equations of Burgers and Fisher is established. The stationary solutions are found and investigated. An equation of pairwise correlation function is analysed. The physical effects of the model are discussed.
