Flows with reactive shock waves

Abstract: A formal definition of “reactive Hugoniot” is given. Features of gas-dynamic flow behind the shock wave front on the normal and abnormal sections of reactive Hugoniot are considered. Two self-similar solutions of the Riemann problem at penetrator-HE interface are compared under the condition of prompt HE decomposition at the initiating shock wave front.
