Abstract: The different numerical methods for solving the problem of oil production by means of nonpiston water displacement are considered. To compare the accuracy of the suggested methods a ID-test is used. The results of simulation for 2D-case are analyzed on the basis of such characteristics of oil production process as the balance of extracted and residual oil amounts, the fraction of water in the extracted product etc. The perspectives of the implicit algorithms parallelization are discussed.
