Numerical simulation of the electrodes displacements during acceleration of conducting macrobody in rail gun bore

Abstract: Dynamic problem of rail gun electrodes transversal oscillations during conductors acceleration is investigated numerically. Accelerated macro body is supposed as a distributed load point source. A long wave elastic electrodes deformations are considered in study of strength of materials approximation.
