Mathematical simulation of interactive physical processes in industrial electrochemical devices in three dimensions

Abstract: The operating characteristic of many electrochemical devices is greatly affected by physical processes such as thermal, electromagnetic and hydrodynamic ones. The most complicated thing in the mathematical simulation of the phenomena cited is the interaction of the given fields. On the base of this new model a set of programs has been made for numerical analysis of temperature, electric potential, magnetic intensity and velocity fields. The mathematical model and the programs mentioned above have been used for analyzing interactive physical processes in the devices for production non-ferrous metals.
