Abstract: Results of car aerodynamic numerical simulation in two- and three-dimensional case are represented. The incompressible unsteady Navier–Stokes equations and curvilinear adaptive grids were used in mathematical model. To solve the hydrodynamic equations the methods of parabolic regularization and method of split were used. Poisson equation was treated by means of Holessky method in two-dimensional case and of conjugate gradient method with ILU-preconditioning in three-dimensional case. Vortex arising and behavior have been investigated. The spectra of velocity pulsation, velocity profiles, pressure distribution along car surface and coefficient of aerodynamic resistance have been determined and analyzed.
