Abstract:
An effective model is suggested to calculate the Compton current density and air ionization intensity produced by gamma rays point pulse source. The model takes into consideration elastic and nonelastic electron scattering and electron retardation with respect to gamma rays flux. The electrons move in homogeneous atmosphere and constant magnetic field. Calculation model results are in satisfactory agreement with those of Monte Carlo method. It is shown that elastic scattering lead to the current density and ionization intensity magnitude decrease.
